A couple of weeks back, Lafayette's paper had an article that was really cute. It was named: You know you're Cajun if....well we were very proud of a few comments in the article. One was You know you are Cajun if you know what "Shake it and Use it baby" means.
Another one was You know you are Cajun if you have Cajun Power in your pantry.
Well Poppie decided to come up with another one:
You know you are Cajun if: you use your wife's nursing pads as a sleep mask.
If you don't know it by now your Poppie has a great since of humor. He is not afraid to go out on a limb for a good laugh. He is not even afraid to dress up like a women for parties, believe me I have photos for proof.
Zoe for your 4th birthday party--you invited a handful of girls to the salon and all of you put on a fashion show, well your Poppie found a dress and was right in the middle of it all with you and your friends. You loved it!!!!!
I hope that all four of you take a piece of his humor with you as you grow up. He is always willing to be VERY silly and make all of us laugh at any given moment. Thank you Poppie for helping us all to smile. Thank you for always brining so much joy into our home. Thank you Poppie for showing our children you have no shame.
