Lee Lee's Swimday

Today we headed to Lee Lee's house to celebrate Micah's 2nd Birthday. The day also included some of Lee Lee's friends coming over to meet Malia for the first time. Lee Lee was very proud of her grandchildren today. We had a pool full of children and some adults acting like children. Some to mention would by your Poppie, your Lee Lee and Parrain Carey.

Lee Lee was determine to knock Poppie off of his float. Lee Lee tried getting everyone in the pool against Poppie. Grant you were not too happy about that. You kept saying "Not everyone is against Poppie, I am on his side"
Well Grant-Lee Lee took care of you too! She is one big kid herself. She really enjoys playing rough with all of you. I wonder if she will have sore muscles tomorrow?

Micah you really enjoyed the pool. You started to try to blow bubbles while hanging out on the steps.

The only trouble with you and a pool is for some reason every time you go swimming you tend to have bowel movements again and again. Mommie and Poppie had to change you at least 4 times today. What is it with your body and a pool? We are suppose to go to the beach next week--and we are a little nervous about you shutting down the pool.

About mid-day I glanced around the pool-Lee Lee had more toys than kids in the pool. It was like a big play land right in her back yard.
Even Sweet Heart and Papa Love made the trip to Brusly to spend some time by the pool. Sweet Heart was proud to help with Malia today. It's funny how she had to come to Brusly to hold you Malia, while at home Papa Love is always hogging you so she very seldom gets you to herself.

Happy Birthday Micah!
The first time you saw your cake Micah, you stuck your fingers in it right away. When it was time to sing to you, you just kept sticking your fingers in the cake. Zoe was trying to get a bite from you, but you decided that you would just be the one eating from your fingers.
We were so grateful for our friends who traveled to spend this day with us. Some who attended were The Chopin Family, The Boulanger Family along with Ma Mee, and Sweet Heart & Papa Love. We were also able to visit with Uncle Blaine, Aunt Gretchen, Braden and Alexia. Since they live in Baton Rouge they came by to meet Malia and to be with Micah on his birthday.

We were very blessed today with family and friends! Some old and some new!
