This weekend was spent as a work/fun weekend. Mommie spent most of Sat morning cleaning house while Malia slept. All of the rest of you kiddos helped Poppie clean up outside. After Micah woke up from his nap we headed to the Bayard/Mader Birthday Bash. They rented the same water-slide that Zoe had for her party so all of you were so very excited. Micah you even enjoyed a little kiddy pool on the side for awhile. Good friends & good food always make things fun.
Mr. Brett seemed to be having lots of fun sliding all of the kids on his back. Zoe and Grant you just seemed like you couldn't get enough of having so much fun with him. We have really been blessed with so many 
good families to hang out with. 
About two years after Poppie and I were married we started praying for good Catholic families to be part of our lives. We never imagined how Our Lord would bless us with these families. He has given us one huge community of great families to hang out with. Most of these families started at Our Lady of Wisdom, others have came into our lives different ways. With out a doubt we know that God has put each one in our life for a reason. Once again Our Lord has answered yet another prayer. Why are we shocked??? That is what He is here for--to give us the good He has for us.
Malia, you were just not quite big enough for the slide, but in a few years believe it or not you will get you fair share of playing with your siblings and friends.
Sunday was a day spent with your great grand maw Gammie. She is 94 years old and loves you all so very much. She was very excited that we spent some of the day with her. We enjoyed some Robie's fried chicken for lunch. Grant and Zoe you both played so well together, mostly you play hide in seek in Gammie's house. Micah as usual you just played with toys and looked around to see what you could check out and observe. As for Malia after Gammie held you for awhile--You took a nap on the couch while we ate lunch.
