Children are such a Blessing to us all

Today I wanted to take a moment and let each of you know that you are very special to both Poppie and I. We cherish each of you and would never want to live life with out you.

Today while having a check up at my doctors office, Mommie ran into a lady from a past prayer group. I have no doubt that God put her into my path this morning for a reason. I can't really say that I know that reason but I trust that God will show me in the up coming months. The young lady told me that she was pregnant for her 4Th child but that she would be giving "her" up for adoption. It is not necessary for me to go into the reason why she is doing this on our blog--but it struck me deeply in my heart.

I wanted to take this opportunity so each of you would know through out your life that you are very much loved in our family. You are a true blessing in our family. God has big plans for each of you and Poppie and I eagerly waiting to see His plans. Know that we both cover each of you in prayer daily and we truly enjoy each of you!

Grant: You have a great big heart. Your love comes bursting through often each day. To watch you with your siblings puts me in awe. The love you have for Zoe, Micah, and Malia is so rewarding for me to watch. The desire you have for life is also rewarding and you often challenge mommie and poppie in a good way to do the right thing. Your desire to please God teaches me daily that we should all live life to please Him. Thank you for teaching us all, true love for life.

Zoe: God's love shows through you smile. Every morning your face is lit up with His love. Your silliness keeps me young. To watch you dance and do ballet around the house is truly a gift from above. We know that God gave us a special angel when you were born. All of your hugs and kissed make us each feel special. Thank you for giving us so much life through your personality. Micah: You are a full bucket of Joy. At the age of 14 months you started climbing everywhere...Nearly made me crazy at first but Our Lord showed me true joy in you. In turn you have given us pure joy, every day of your life. You have taught me a real lesson in my life at such a young age and I thank you for that. Finding Joy in everything is very rewarding. At the age you are now which is 23 months you are very loving to almost everyone you meet. You are always willing to give out hugs and kisses. You are very very lovable. Your smile on your face when we play games has pure joy written all over it. Thank for giving us life through your joy.

Malia: Sweet Malia, well you are only 5 weeks old and truly an angel from heaven. You allow mommie to get 5 to 6 hours of sleep at night between feedings so at this point I can not ask for anything more. You are already a blessing to our family, to watch Grant, Zoe and Micah adore you daily is a blessing in itself. I am in awe, all the time, the way your siblings can not get enough of you. Each of them ALWAYS want to hold you (although Micah only holds you for 2 seconds he still always is asking me) and kiss you and hug you and love on you. Thank you Malia for bringing new life into our home.

Sweet Jesus use our family to serve and love you on a daily basis. May our hearts always be filled with your love. May we always have a great desire to do your will through out our lives. Lord watch over those who are struggling in their marriage and those who struggle with the blessing of children. Give us all the graces that we need to survive the difficult times. Amen.
