Malia's Catholic

Today is a very special day for you Malia. Our family has given you your first Sacrament in the Catholic church. Baptism!!!!
Fr Hampton Davis at Our Lady Queen of Peace baptised you this morning at 10 am. Many people showed up for your special day. Many people love you and support you already at 6 weeks old.

Along with being baptized you met your great grandfather for the first time. Paw-Paw was very excited to meet you. As soon as you laid eyes on him you had many many giggles and smiles for him. That really touched my heart Malia.

I saw joy in your face and in Paw-Paw's face which in turn put joy in my heart.
Uncle Beau Beau took many pictures for us today. So I don't have any of the ceremony as I blog this.........But I will tell you that it was a beautiful baptism. Fr. Hampton did a great job. Afterwards we headed back to Abbeville to eat some lunch and for everyone to get a chance to love on you a bit. Your slept through most on the excitement at the house. Many people got to hold you and love on you. Nee Nee Ragan was a proud Godmother along with Parrin Carey was totally excited to be officially your Godfather. These two people are very special people and we pray that they will always be praying for you and that you can always call on them in the future for prayers, love and support through out life.
Thank you Malia for being part of our family. May God's blessings and graces be with you daily.--We love you and we look forward to what God has in store for you.

May God Bless you and Keep you through out life!
