Nature Friday turns into Nature Weekend

Our first camping trip of the year. Poppie woke up Tuesday morning and said lets go camping this weekend. So that is exactly what we did. We turned Nature Friday into Nature Weekend.
The Bayard Family, The Chopin Family, and The Landreneau Family all joined us for a great weekend. That is currently 8 adults and 15 children. It was a fun crowd.

We arrived on Friday afternoon---set up all the tents, while you explored the campground. After everyone was good to go with housing Poppie started to work on our camp fire. After supper we all enjoyed our campground favorite SMORES!
Our first night was a little different than the past-Micah you had a cough and cold so you had a hard time staying alseep which in turn kept waking up Malia.

The next morning had lots of promises that needed to be filled! While Malia took a morning nap, Mommie offered to push Micah in the stroller for a hike. All of the kids joined us along with Mrs Aimee and Mr Phil. All of the boys rode their bikes and the girls walked together. Ava bumped a ride in the back of the stroller. Very cute!!
Fishing took place on this beautiful Saturday--Grant, Mr Carey taught you how to bait the hook, we were very excited for you and proud that you could do it with ease.
Everyone kind of did their own thing in the afternoon-Some of the dads took the kids on a hike--Micah you chose to play in the tent for an hour instead of taking a nap. Once I walked to the tent to check on you and you had got the toothpaste out of the suitcase and was eating it! Yipee! Any way with no nap we changed and washed up for Mass.
After supper we listened to Mr Carey and Andrew play on the guitar while we all enjoyed SMORES again!
Sunday morning Mommie and Micah went look for deer before everyone was up. We were very excited to see at least two deer. We tried to chase them but there were faster than us:)
After breakfast we started to pack up the tents and clean up our spot.
