Family Holy Hour

First Saturday of the month we try to attend the Family Holy Hour at St Mary Magdalen. This month was our month to lead. So we asked Parrin Carey and his family to join us. We asked Parrin Carey to bring his guitar and provide us with some music. Grant and Zoe you were both very excited to know that he could play HI God. That is exactly what he played for us. That in itself was a great gift for our family.


Micah your Nonie and Pi showed up also for Holy Hour along with Evie. They wanted to tell you Happy Birthday and spend a little time with you.


Fr Greg came to put Jesus on the alter for us in the flesh. What a blessing that was for all of us.


We sometimes take things for granted in our life--May we never take Jesus and what He did for us for granted.


Afterwards we all headed to our house, Poppie cooked a big chicken and sausage gumbo.


All of the kids went out to play and the adults and babies hung out inside to visit.


Lunch was great---Fr Greg even came by to grab a bite to eat.


After Micah took a nap our family headed to Lafayette to buy Zoe some ballet shoes. You needed them for Monday Zoe, Mommie had forgot all about it!


To wrap up our great family day we head over to La Pizzeria, sat outside and had dinner. Micah you kept us busy as usual but that is all part of the 2years old stage.





Family days are great--we are so blessed to have them almost everyday of the week!
