Happy Birthday to our 8 year old boy! We love you very much Grant. We are grateful for your loving and tender heart. We can't believe it has been 8 years already since we carried you home. So many good memories in these past years. You are a very big blessing to our family. We are proud to be your parents.
This morning while getting ready to start our day this is what I found:
I knew that you would want to have a memory of what God had to offer you on the morning of your 8Th birthday. Such a beautiful sight to see. Such a warm glow was right out of our window--exactly what you offer this family everyday since you have been born--a warm glow of love!!!
Poppie went to get donuts for our birthday tradition--We sang Happy Birthday many many times to you today.
You were very proud to receive so many phone calls today. On a regular day, when answering the phone you say: "Hello this is Grant may I ask who is speaking" Well today after getting phone call after phone call you started to answer the phone this way "Hello this is Grant the birthday boy, may I ask who is speaking" You had a smile on your face all day. You took much pride in the day that God gave you--it was cute to watch you!
You were not to happy that we made you do school work on your birthday but you survived and ask to go help Poppie bottle. This is one of your favorite things especially during school time;)
We ended your special day by going to eat out at Golden Coral (your pick). Sweet Heart and Papa joined our family for a birthday dinner. The girls that work there came out with a dessert plate and sang to you. This made you blush and smile.
May God bless us all many more birthdays to celebrate with you. We pray that you will continue to keep Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother close to your heart. We pray that you will always listen to what God has in store for you and that you will do His will through out your life.
Mommie and Poppie love you very much--know that we are very proud of you!
