Well Kiddo's as you can see I haven't touched your blog in quite a few weeks. When I decided to do this for each of you I promised myself that I would not stress about it. So not blogging is just what has happen in order for me to keep out household running at some type of good pace.
This past few weeks have been a roller coaster for all of us. So many things have happen, big and small. Great things and yucky things. One thing I can say about it all is "It's all for the Glory of God".
Our family was hit by a really bad stomach virus . All of us were affected in one way or another--just most of us ended up in bed. We were so very thankful for Lee Lee coming to sleep over to help mama out when she was sick in bed.
Many very exciting things have been happening also. At the beginning of this month Grant you were able to finally walk in Aunt Ragan's wedding. You did a great job and you were very handsome I might add:)
Zoe, Aunt Ragan asked for you to come along with all of us bridesmaids to make sure everyone had pretty hairstyles and everyone had pretty makeup. You had the chance for the 1st time in your life to ride in a limo. You couldn't make up your mind if you should or shouldn't wear the seat belt. I really was tickled by that!
You also were able to have your hair done at the same salon as all of us. You felt pretty important to have the same stylist as Aunt Ragan-The Bride!!!
Once we returned from Texas-we took a couple days to breath and get back into the swing of things.
With the whole time change it seems like our bodies are just this week adjusting. Mommie and Poppie are grateful that Micah is back in the mode of sleeping until 7:30 or 8 am. Micah it took you all week to adjust! We were not use to getting up with you at 6 am. Then having Mr Cranky in the house--I was missing the bucket of Joy that you usually offer me daily. I am glad to have you back to normal. Grant and Zoe you were sleeping until 7:30 or 8 with this new time and that was really nice. Just this week your bodies are back up and ready to go at 7. Which is perfect because like the past we get lots of school done while the babies are
asleep!
Also at the beginning of this month we voted for a new president! Grant and Zoe you both took great pride in coming to the voting polls to "help" Mommie vote. You both had a chance to press the buttons. You were very eager to take part in making history--and you were both sad the next morning to see that our vote didn't win. So we will just do what you said Zoe "Then we will just keep praying for the babies".
Malia--You are now 4 months. Still a great blessing to this family! You have out grown your miracle blanket. Although you still need to be wrapped up like a sardine to sleep, I have had to turn to other measures that seem to keep changing weekly. You are giving lots of smiles lately and you pivot around when placed on the floor. You still spit up quite a bit so we don't put you on your tummy much---Also you love our bumbo seat (then again you spit up a lot when you sit in it so we limit that too).
So with all of that being said hopefully I can get back to some type of routine in getting your blog back on track.
Having the four of you is a true blessing. Some days are harder than others but I truly believe that the grace of God will get me through it daily especially when I ask him for help. I honestly believe that with my whole heart.
One thing that I have learned since Malia has arrived to our family is that Mommie and Poppie can not parent you alone. We as parents and as individuals have to rely on God and when we live out His will then things just seem to work out for the best. It may not always be "our" way to do it but God is here to provide. Our Lord will provide help from a small little issue to great big issues.
I just want all four of you to know that we love you dearly and we pray daily for each of you. I pray that each of you will stay pure and be charitable people. May you always live in God's will---It may not always be easy but It will always be best for you!
Lots of love to each of you!!! Hugs and Kisses!!!
