Fortune Cookies Told Our Good News

We have begun a new unit study this week. We are studying Asia!!! It has included Ninjas, Asian food, extra special fortune cookies and so much more.
Yesterday, Grant and Zoe you got a "kick" out of dressing like Ninjas. You both left the house and went on a "mission" to the plant to show Poppie.

Last night we had our very own Asian meal. Zoe you were so very creative to make up Chef names and make name tags for everyone while the boys cooked.
Grant was Iron Chef Zoe you were Chef Thai Micah was Chef BoBee Malia you were Chef Whinie because you were crying the whole time Mommie was Chef Tarenie and our main chef for the night was Poppie and his name was Chef Shetaki. Our Asian meal was de-lish. Different but de-lish. Grant you really played a big part in our meal. You said you were very eager to try it even though it had stuff in it you don't like. I was proud of you for thinking that way since you tend to be a picky eater.

Today we had some very exciting news to share with family and friends. So to go along with our Asian theme we made fortune cookies. Every one's fortune told them that we were blessed with child #5.
Our last family we went to visit today were the Steen's down the road. Uncle Fonkie was so excited for us he got down on the grown and played with each of you. One comment he said to all of you was "How will I fit 5 on my back?" Micah it took you awhile to get on but once you did you had a blast. Malia we were find with all the fun but didn't want to come close to Uncle Fonkie and his beard;)

Today has been a great day---Grant you told me in the kitchen that you have enjoyed watching every one's reaction to the news.

Poppie and I enjoyed the reaction we got from each of you last night. While saying grace Poppie thanked Jesus for each one of you and then Thanked Jesus for the baby in Mommie's tummy. Grant you said "seriously" like 5 times and Zoe you gleamed from ear to ear running over to me to give me and the baby and big hug. Micah just did what each of you did and yelled with excitement. Maila your just too little to know any better at this point. You will be 2 when our new bundle of joy arrives. We look forward to the blessings that each of you will give us this up coming year. We also look forward to seeing the joy this new baby will bring each of us. Thank you Jesus for this new life in the Thomas house hold. Thank you Jesus for each blessing we are aware of and for each blessing we seem to miss! May your Will be done Lord, not ours!!!!
