I want to remember some things that were said from each of you......before my tired brains melts the memories away. These were said either before or after Davis joined our family. They are just too cute not to have as a keep sake.
Each of you wanted to play an April Fools joke on Poppie---He was cooking that day and each of you thought it would be so fun to pour water on my pants and tell Poppie my water broke. Since Poppie was having a very busy day--we opted not to do it.
Micah: Mama, they going to cut your belly open to get that baby out?
Micah, what kind of baby do you want?--- Boy Girl Boy Girl---4 of them because I'm 4
Zoe: Is it going to hurt to have the baby? What does a contraction feel like?
Grant: When arriving to the hospital to see the baby. You kept coming to my bed to check on ME! Mama, how you feeling? Mama, I love you! Thank you Mama for this brother.
Zoe: I have magic hands to put it to sleep!
Can I hold him yet? Zoe I just started feeding him. Can I hold him as soon as you are done?
Malia: What's the baby's name? Then you begin singing Davis, Davis, Davis birthday
On the night of seeing Davis at the hospital-- Poppie took you to see Grant and Zoe at their piano recital. Poppie said you screamed all the way home: Davis, Davis, My baby Davis, I want Davis, I want my baby Davis.
Zoe: Did it hurt Mama? Does it hurt now? You look tired. Why are you tired?
Micah: Seeing me when I arrive home with still some belly, Mama you having another baby? No Micah. Micah: Your belly mama. Mama: Lets just enjoy this baby and not be greedy. Micah: Mama I am not greedy I just LOVE babies. I want you to have more babies.
Grant: Day before delivery: Every one is saying how excited they are---Grant says to your siblings: I am more excited than any of you.......I know what this is like I have been around for each and everyone of you--I am the most excited!
Zoe: I am good at putting babies asleep. Can I hold him???
Micah: I want to love him! I want to just kiss him.
He is so cute Poppie. I love him! What is his name again? Oh I have an idea we can just call him John all by it self.
Malia: What's his name? Yes Davis--Can I sing to him? Twinkle Twinkle little star....
Micah: You have noticed that if you sing Jesus in the morning Davis stops crying...so this has become YOUR song for Davis.
Grant: Yes I want to hold him...because when Malia wakes up it's all over with.

I loved reading this! You all will enjoy reading this years from now & remembering when...and there will be lots of giggles!
Three blog posts in less than a week...I think your blog might freak out on you.
You can add that Malia kept telling me today that his name was not Davis...just Boy!
