Davis John-Paul Thomas has arrived!!!

Welcome Davis to our family. We are so excited for you to join us. Your life has only been a total of 2 days and already you have a story to tell. We believe God has big plans for you. Like everyone in our family God has big plans for us to do for Him in our future. For what ever reason God has put an exclamation point on you. You are known as our miracle baby. On Wednesday April 13, 2011 at 1:25pm you entered this world. You entered with your cord around your neck and you also had a knot in the cord. Here is a pic. of Dr Hardy hands opening the knot after the cord was cut.

Your nurse was the first to proclaim you are a miracle. Our Doctor said that usually when these two things happen together it is resulted as a still born birth.
God showed us that was not to be. You are a wonderful healthy boy.
Mama personally thanks two people (other than God and Jesus) for this miracle. Rosa Mystica and St. Raymond Nonnatus. They were both very special to my heart for the last weeks of this pregnancy.
On the way to the hospital Mommie and Poppie prayed a rosary for a safe delivery, for our doctor's wisdom and for the intercessory prayer of this saint and Our Lady. Mommie believes with out a doubt God heard that prayer along with all of the prayers coming from family and friends.

Yesterday after we settled in at home, Grant reminded me of something we discovered at the beginning of this pregnancy. There would be no Davis if Little John would be here with us today. Little John's life was sacrificed for you Davis to join our family. By knowing this Davis, It's one more sign for our family to know and believe you have a purpose. God has a plan..............but more importantly for us to remember that He as a purpose for every single one of us. The only way to know it: Is to follow His will, no matter how hard or easy it may seem.

So we continue to pray for God to show us His will for each of us and for our family.

Mommie and Poppies new favorite bible verse:
Psalm 25:4-5
Make known to me your ways Lord, teach me your paths, Guide me in your truth and teach me for you are God my savior!
