Conversation with Malia Part 2

I am currently thinking that since you, Malia, really is showing pure stubbornness about potty training that it is: GAME ON!!!

So while Poppie was out shopping tonight, I called him in front of you and asked him to pick up some PINK panties. When I hung up the phone, your response Malia was:

Poppie's buying me some pink panties?
I reply yes
Your reply WHY???
So you can continue being a big girl.
You replied: OH?!?!?!
(just for the record---your didn't seem impressed)





At bed time when we said prayers....it went something like this:

Mommie: Malia what do you want to pray for?
Malia: You go first. (which is what you always say:))
Mommie: Okay. Jesus I thank you for Malia and all the wonderful gifts you have giving her. I ask for your guidance and wisdom for her to potty like a big girl on the toilet. Please send down all the graces we need to accomplish this task in a quick amount of time. Blessed Mother, All the Angels and Saints, and all the souls in purgatory...Please pray for us and guide us in God's will. (At this point Mommie continues with her other prayers and then ends with Amen)
Mommie: Malia what do you want to pray for?
Malia: For Poppie to buy my pink panties...........so I can keep them wet and not dry. Amen.


REALLY??????

Mommie silently prays again..........Lord I really am going to need your help with this one!!!


I currently have faith that it will take place sooner than later......It just blows me away that for so long now you are trying to out smart us on this potting thing.
For the longest time we heard from you Malia that when the baby comes you would potty. Once Davis arrived Poppie told you it was time to potty. Your reply was....No I will potty when Davis can clap.
When you complained your diaper was too tight--Poppie said it was a sign for you to go to panties. Your replied..no buy me bigger ones.
I am asking your godparents and all of Heaven to back me up in prayer on this one.....No way you can win this one!!! You are just too smart for your britches!!! That is why we need to change them to panties!!!!
