Making Bubbles

 

Mommie has been saying for the last month--We are not potting training Micah until the spring. We are not going to rush this potty training business. I do not want to add one more thing to my daily routine. So WE ARE WAITING TIL THE SPRING!
WELL..............The Lord and Micah must have a different plan for Mommie.

Micah you have been telling us for about a month now when your diaper is dirty. Sometimes on your own but other times when we ask. When you're asked you are 99% correct. Tonight after Poppie gave you your bath, Poppie was holding you in a towel talking to me in the living room. While we were chatting you said TEE TEE and looked down in the towel. I asked you "Do you have to tee tee?" You replied "Yesssss" So Poppie hurried you to the toilet. With in seconds you started to potty. Then you said "BUBBLES" Everyone started to scream hooray for you. Mommie ran to get you a candy as a reward. You met me in the living room to get your candy. While eating it you looked down and said tee tee again and started to tee tee on my floor---So I yelled "Go back to the toilet!!!"
You were so excited! Poppie helped you back on the toilet and you tee teed again----You said "BUBBLES"!
Poppie taught you how to flush the bubbles and you signed "MORE" and tee teed again! Once again saying BUBBLES!!
After tee teeing 3 times we decided to get you ready for bed. Poppie got your diaper and PJ's on.
After a few moments you were in the kitchen picking a book up off the floor and I hear TEE TEE.......(silence).......NO BUBBLES!!!

Well buddy,I guess this is the beginning of our potty adventures. You are growing up so very fast! Together we will conquer this task with much prayer and patience! Thank you Lord for all of the joys in our family---Even for the ones we don't recognize right away!!!
