This is Zoe's story of the Zoo trip with Lee Lee:

We left our house early Sat morning with Poppie. We saw Lee Lee and it we were so excited but I was sad in the car. I was kinda of sad because I was leaving our house and mommie and Poppie were not coming to Lee Lee's with me. We were a little sad but we saw mommie and Poppie on Sunday at the Pizza place. We slept over one night and got to go to the zoo. First we went into the zoo and we had to pay. Then we saw the elephants. Right when we saw them they were tee tee and it was so funny but we couldn't take a picture because the camera wasn't ready. We also saw some otters -we took some pictures of them. We ride on the train-it was so fun. We did not see any animals on the train. It wasn't a good train ride for seeing animals. It goes a little faster-but they have a few rules. They was building a new home for the tigers. They also had a playground but we couldn't go on it because they had some kids there and we wanted them to play. We went to lunch in the back of Lee Lee's new truck. I got to serve everybody. It was so fun. We went back in but when we went back in we had a card to slide instead of paying money again. But our card did not work--it is just for one week. I saw a giraffe while riding on the tram.
The sad thing was we couldn't see the elephant show because we were a little late. We saw big rats, it was orange but really wasn't a rat.
When we left the zoo we went swimming in Lee Lee's pool. The water was a little freezing cold. We slept for one night. We went to Mass then drove back to lee Lee's and swam, ate chicken nuggets. We drove in the car and saw Mommie and Poppie in Lafayette.
