Christmas with Nonnie and Pi

Micah your Nonnie and Pi came over to Celebrate Advent/Christmas. We had a great time. Both Pi and Nonnie help us put more ornaments on the tree to help it turn into a Christmas tree. I was hoping to take more pictures through out Advent but this season is always busy for us due to Cajun Power.
These were the only pics taken with all of us decorating the tree. What better way to share a new family tradition---having company help us with the tree.
Each day Grant and Zoe would take an Advent link off the tree, they would do what ever the link told them to do (for an example---make your siblings bed, or play with Micah for 15mins by yourself today)then we would all get the reward of decorating the tree. Poppie was very excited about this advent activity when I first told him about it. He was happy to see us take part in it daily. Micah you really didn't comprehend the whole idea of only putting a few on at a time----each day you would say MORE MORE (verbally and signing it).
We think this will be a new family tradition that we will keep!

What a blessing to have great people in our life!!!


As a special treat............after dinner we let all of you make cookie with your favorite cookie cutters. Boy did y'all have a great time and a big fun mess!
Little E.V. somehow got flour on her face and next thing we knew each of you copied her and thought it would be neat to have flour on your face also.

Zoe you can't use flour as a daily makeup maybe your pretending it's lotion:)



Even Nonnie looked like she was having way too much fun!!!!
