Today was a big day for you Zoe!!!! This picture was taken right after Holy Mass. It shows the glow of Jesus who is inside of you now.
You have looked forward to this day for quite a few years now. The day finally arrived.

The weather was perfect. Cool, crisp, and sunny. The sky was as blue as Our Lady's veil.
Your beauty shines for the world to see. Now with Jesus' own body and blood with in you, Nothing can stop you now to shine God's Light!!!
Zoe, you have so much life with in you. God's plans are before you ready for you to take them and run. Listen to your heart and listen to the Holy Spirit. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you on God's path of life.

Poppie got teary eyed when he first saw his little girl all dressed up.
As Mommie and Poppie processed with you in Mass, I thought....will it be like this if you have the vocation of marriage. Zoe, the future flashed before my eyes.
Zoe, do not grow up to fast...I want to enjoy you as my little girl!
Grant's gift to YOU was to serve for Holy Mass for YOUR First Communion.
It was really neat to see all of the older siblings of the First Communion Class serve for this Holy Mass. It is such a wonderful blessing to be in such an active community!!
Father Sibley did a wonderful job keeping YOUR First Communion very sacred and special. His homily was geared toward you and your class. He talked about how you will be receiving Jesus' real body and blood and since it was Good Shepard Sunday he talked about vocations.
Zoe, Our prayer for you is to always desire to do God's will in your life. May this Sacrament of First Holy Communion increase your desire. May you always long to have Jesus with in you. May you always follow the truth that our church teaches. We ask Our Lord to protect you and keep you through out life. May Our Lady continue to pray for you and guide you to Her Son's heart.

Hmmm...this post warms my heart. I see Jesus shining through you, Zoe! What a beautiful day! It's a day that hopefully you will never forget! I'm very sure that Mommie and Poppie will work very hard to keep this alive in your heart and life!
Every time you receive Jesus in the Eucharist, allow His presence inside you to fill you, and also to shine from you! Jesus loves being so close to you!
