Each of You these days

Below you will find what mom wrote before we recieved our sad news yesterday. Poppie wanted me to keep it as is....................I will come back to write about the sad news at another time.

Just wanted to take a moment to capture where each of you are right now in life:

Grant: 9 years old...........started cub scouts this year. Working on your webelos badge. Poppie and you both seem to truly be enjoying this new adventure together. Mommie can't wait till the camp out so I can capture all of these cool things on camera. School for you has improved. I thank God for that. Everyone's prayers have been answered. I see a difference especially when you apply yourself. Your math skills have impressed me very much!!! I am so very proud of you. Your reading skills have improved just as well, when we find things that your interested in reading is easier for you. Your very much into Star Wars at this time. Your Lee Lee gave you star wars Wii game for your birthday, yeah your officially addicted. We had to make a little deal, you practice your piano, you get to play Wii. Piano equals Wii time!!! You seem to be doing very well in your piano. Participating in piano shows or tournaments gets you excited. You have used your piano talent in your room to make shows with Zoe. Your imagination blows me away. Grant, you are very open to being ever so silly around your family but at the same time you enjoy your serious grown up time as well. You are in the joking stage but very much still a sensitive young man. We can always count on your help with your siblings and we can always count on your heart for God. This year you started to serve as an alter server at Our Lady of Wisdom. You take much pride in this service. Father Chester said he is very impressed with you. He can tell you have watch for some time and it is clear you know what to do during Holy Mass. There is not a weekend that goes by that you ask, "Can I serve today". You have also made the comment many times that you wished we went to Our Lady of Wisdom during the week so you could serve then too. Your servant heart makes my heart smile. I hope your desire to serve Our Lord just keeps growing deeper and deeper each year as you grow. We are very blessed to have you as our first born child. We love you!

Zoe: My little Zoe at 6 years old you have so much life! Your are very much a little mother hen. You wished your sister Malia would be willing to let you tend to her more. You always want her to hug and kiss you and you are always wishing she would let you hold her. Your smile is so bright, Zoe. You enjoy matching your clothes with Malia or matching your clothes with your bitty baby Marie. Your are very interested in adult conversation and you don't want to miss a beat. You seem to always have an eye out and ready to ask a question the first time you don't understand what is going on. I am very grateful that it is I or Poppie you come to for the question. We are very happy to give you an answer to satisfy you at this age. You are a people person and want to get to know others and how they feel. God will use this gift of yours as you grow older.
This year I see you are enjoying your ballet. We see you dancing around the house more and more each day. You also like to act along side your brother Grant. You both try to make shows for us to watch. They are very cute!!!! You have an open will to do anything. You barely have any fear. I see a lot of me in you Zoe...sometimes that is scary and sometimes it is cute.
Your school work is incredible! We are very pleased on how hard you are working this year at your math and reading. We are very blessed to have you as our second born and first daughter. We can always count on your never ending prayers! I believe God will use that also:) We love you Zoe!

Micah: 3years old.............Your a BIG BOY and not afraid to remind me every time you accomplish potting on the toilet. You are growing so very fast little boy. You are a very snugly loving boy. Since you were so very little I can remember you sucking your thumb and rubbing the back of my arm. You are still doing it today at 3. That is my sign you are tired. Your favorite song is Jesus loves me and you ask for me to sing it to your every time I tuck you into bed. You enjoy playing what ever Grant and Zoe are playing. You love TV. You ask to watch a movie in Mommie's bed all the time. This is some thing we are trying to break:) You still enjoy your Thomas trains, but really any toy will do. You have been enjoying riding your bike out side for some time, you wish you could ride like Grant and Zoe around the plant....all in due time darling!
One of your all time favorite things to do is to go to the plant and "help" Poppie. You sit on the stool and watch,"check", the bottles to make sure they are getting capped correctly. You become very sad when Poppie tells you that you can't go to the work. A boy your age feels like you should be able to go to work any time you want to.
Any time you think we are doing school of any sort you are at the table saying "Micah school??" You love to do school, no matter what kind of school it is. Your favorite is to glue and to stick foamies on a paper. You are at the point that you are willing and able to pray with our family. It is so cute Micah........this is how you pray: pray papa, pray sweetheart, pray for leelee and so on very very cute. And..... You don't like it when you don't have a turn to pray. "My turn" is what you proclaim to all who are listening. You like to pray right away, you don't like to wait your turn.........you are ready and willing to pray now.
I see Christ in your eyes almost daily. There is so much joy in your eyes, Micah, it often stops me in my place. Your expressions are so adorable. So much life in shown through your face. We are blessed to have you as our third child. We Love you Micah!!!

Malia:16months old.............Our littlest in our home, well at least for the next 7 months. Malia, your personality is starting to glow to our household. You have giving us a puckered kiss down pat, when YOU want to give us a kiss:) We enjoy your hugs in the morning when we take you out of your bed. The little things you're enjoying are knocking down some one's block castle, Zoe's baby dolls, pretend play with tea cups, and having attention from Mommie. If Mommie is not around you are fine with who ever is, but if Mommie is around you are stuck in a season of wanting to being held. You also love your Nunnies!!!! You sleep with two of them. One for your mouth and one for your hand. You still use your brown lovie also, but I think you could make it with out it. Not sure, not going to find out at this point:) Your eating habits have really changed lately, hoping it's due to your teething. You use to eat grapes like crazy. Now a days you will not touch them!!! Meat also........you use to love it and know the only way I can get you to eat it is if I give you your own fork and some ketchup, and that is only if your in the mood to eat it. Today I gave you a spork and helped you eat spagetti out of a bowl for the first time. I am thinking that's the trick...you want to feed your self. So that is the next season for your eating habits. Look out Poppie here comes another messy eater:) One new thing that I think is very interesting Malia, is all of a sudden you started trying to climb out of your high chair. Is this your way of saying you are not the baby any more?????
We all look forward to seeing what gifts God has blessed you with. We also look forward to watching you grow.
We are very blessed to have you as our fourth child Malia! We love you!

Baby: We have no idea who you are or what you will be. We feel very blessed to have you growing strong for our family in side Mommie's tummy. You have 2 big brothers and 2 big sisters eagerly waiting for you. Grant and Zoe are both hoping you are twins: boy and girl. Mommie and Poppie would be so happy with just one---May God's will be done. You have 4 siblings who have so much to teach you and to love you. Our family has a lot to offer you in this new world when your arrive. We also expect for you to teach us about ourselves and about yourself when you arrive. We trust that God will lead you to great things in life.

Kiddos, Mommie wanted to just take a moment to stop and record what everyone is up to these days. I know with out a doubt I will not remember this in 15 much less 25 years from now. I trust that in years to come you will enjoy to know who your were in November 2009. Both Poppie and I are very blessed to have each of you in our lives. We would not want to have life with out even one of you. Each of you along with our faith in God make up our lives, it's a very enjoyable life--THANK YOU for that gift!!! We look forward to sharing each of you again with the next bundle of joy that will arrive in June. We are very thankful that God has trusted us with another life to bring Him glory in Heaven here on earth. Love to each of you!!!!
